Regaining Financial Control and Confidence

The Challenge

A busy professional with ADHD had a solid income but felt constant anxiety around money. Bills were on autopay which kept things functioning day to day, but she felt overwhelmed by her finances. Without a clear understanding of cash flow, or how to prioritize financial tasks, managing money became something she avoided. The result was persistent stress, uncertainty, and a feeling that her finances were “out of control,” even though she was doing many things right.

The Approach

Working together we created a clear, judgement-free view of where the client’s money was coming from and where it was going. While she understood the basics of personal finance she needed support turning that knowledge into an organized, manageable system. We broke the process into small, actionable steps and built a structure that matched how her brain worked. Through weekly check-ins for accountability, we worked together to stop avoidance, reinforce her progress and adjust the system as needed.

The Results

Over time, reviewing her finances stopped feeling intimidating. With a system that felt manageable and sustainable, the client gained a stronger sense of control. Money decisions became intentional and far less stressful. Instead of avoiding her finances, she felt equipped to handle them confidently on her own terms.
